About us

Founded in 2014, CABES is a network of 50 associations and nearly 2000 artisans, mostly women, who specialize in the transformation of GOTS certified organic cotton into the quintessence of Burkina Faso's Dan Fani textile. We specialize in the production of traditional textiles in West Africa.

We are Proud of our sustainable practices.

INSTITUTE

We are very proud to work with locally grown organic cotton.

PLUVIAL

No irrigation is used to grow cotton and no precious water is wasted.

LOCAL

We work closely with Burkina Faso farmers to supply cotton produced in a sustainable manner for all our products.

LOW CARBON

Our cotton produces 7.58 kgCO2e per kg of fabric. This is very low according to industry standards.

SUSTAINABLE COLORANTS

Cabes engages in its work using GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified reactive dyes, fully compliant with international environmental standards.

EFI creates and strengthens social enterprises in emerging economies to connect demanding international brands in the fields of fashion, interior decoration and fine grocery with talented local designers, artisans and micro-producers. OUR TEAM

The CABES production and export team is made up of textile technicians, tradesmen, logistics specialists and specialized dyers who carefully manage all trade processes at the national, regional and international levels. From sampling and invoicing to logistics and quality control, CABES provides itself in business practices that successfully connect local artisans to the global market.
